A wine that provides density and power, its all about strength and concentration in this wine. Immediate oak impact provided through the use of approximately 50% new oak predominantly American. The wine is a blend of three different batches, a portion held on skins for 10 days post ferment and then rested in oak for 18 months with minimal racking. Blended through barrel selection to achieve intensity, syrupy palate definition and persistence.
